The Swedish Gynecologic Cancer Group (SweGCG) was founded in 2013 and is a national research group for collaboration on clinical studies of gynecologic cancer diseases.
The aim of SweGCG is to initiate and conduct clinical and translational studies of high scientific quality through national and international cooperation. The studies should be based on, but not limited to, the Swedish Quality Registry for Gynecologic Cancer.

SweGCG is supported financially by the Swedish Cancer Society.

SweGCG consists of senior researchers in the field of gynecologic cancer. The group strives for a mix of competences such as gynecologic oncology, surgery, statistics and psychology/nursing care. Collaboration with researchers outside the group as well as younger doctoral students is encouraged.
SweGCG has published several articles presented on national and international conferences such as ESGO (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology) and IGCS (International Gynaecological Cancer Society).
